Spice Island Beach Resort is home to a multitude of environmental practices.

Perfection is hard to maintain. However, at Spice we are doing our part. True, we have strived to blend into our surroundings from the very start. Only now, we are that much more conscious of the impact we have on the paradise that surrounds us. In fact, everywhere you look, the resort is a proud testament to the co-existence of man and nature.

Spice Island Beach Resort is home to a multitude of environmental practices – from non-chlorine swimming pools, home grown herb gardens, to natural composting, and energy conservation is a preoccupation. We use solar heating, desalination plants and consumption reducing devices such as energy saving bulbs and a close monitoring system on air conditioning usage.

As of 15th December 2008 Spice Island Beach Resort will be a non-smoking resort. Smoking will not be allowed in public areas or in guest bedrooms.
